Day 19: Bratislava, Slavakia

59 mi  Ride details

Flat really can get boring. Just kidding. We left early this morning. I've been disappointed in the bicycle signage in Austria and today was the same. We made it to the Danube...

But didn't see it most of the day because we were riding the through the Danube National Park on the straightest most boringly flat ride along a dike in the flood plain used for farming.
Most exciting thing that happened was that Mary had a flat.

Oh, the other exciting thing that happened was that we lost each other, I found the route and kept going until a turn. I thought she was in front of me. Anyway, in an emergency I figured out how to make my phone work. Anyway, we connected again.

Bratislava is the capital of Slavakia and this will probably be the only day we are here. Remember, Mary always find rooms that are either up a hill or the top floor of the building. We stayed in a hotel with an elevator so we brought our bikes to the room. Room didn't include breakfast so we stopped by a store and I ate two sweet rolls. Tch, tch! Energy for the ride.
Back to the Hungarian side.
