53.0 mostly downhill miles with a tailwind
avg: 14.2 mi (which is really fast for me)
Directions: Leave Gage hotel, turn left, ride 53 miles, turn left at Oasis Hotel...
What a pleasant ride. All of us were here before 1:00. It is like having a rest day.
Wide shoulder, head rattling Texas chip seal, virtually no debris. 6 cars in first 20 miles including the SAG, and the van. Pretty amazing ride for this Saturday ride in mid-march.
Staying at the best motel in town, some have already name the "Bates Motel". Not the worst we have had but close.
