Walking The Thames Day 14

7.3 mi Marlow to Hurley

I guess this is getting routine. A pretty short walking day so David can do a 4-hour training run. A bunch of flooding just outside Marlow so we had a great detour that some locals directed us to. The river and water table are high, but everyone was out enjoying this partially cloudy & rainless Saturday. The English just slosh through the puddles in their "wellies". (Wellington boots).
My Hoka One One tennis shoes with waterproof socks have been great but proper waterproof boots might have been a better choice.

Staying in an English Pub with rooms. Proprietor is Canadian so she said they have oatmeal for breakfast. I had some tea while David does his long run.
