Day 4: Fairport to Seneca Falls

47 mi

Today was a day of contrasts.  We rode on the Trail for the first half (paved, gravel, two way tracks, & 4 feet wide.  Second half we were on roads vearing off the Canal Trail to head for Seneca Falls.  A place that is historically interesting.

When I created the ride, the app I use wouldn't let me stay along the trail.  I forgot to go back later to tweak it. Anyway,  we may have ridden a few more miles than needed.  It was beautiful and reminiscent of many of the rides I've been on before.  Many Amish farms nestled among huge corn & soybean fields.

We are staying at  a B& B built in 1860.  It had only two  owners (both lawyers), prior to being turned into a B & B in 2001.  The current owner has been here for 11 years.

The Barrister Inn.  Wonderful hospitality and breakfast.  We stopped here so we could visit the National Womens Rights Museum.

Tired.
