Finished another great ride!!

Rode from Leesburg to Georgetown to the end of the C&O (about 34 mi) then quickly climbed up the steps to the Key Bridge to ride 20+ more miles to Liana's. I knew I would run out of light if I didn't get moving. The first trail out of Georgetown was all up, but my bike gearing is perfect and I did it with no great difficulty.
I had about 10 miles to go when Liana sent me a text saying she was on the way home. My directions led me off trail onto city streets with no bike path & lots of traffic, so I called and asked for a lift. So good to see her. It is hard having her living so far away.
I walked & explored while she worked Friday. Today we visited Manassas (Bull Run) Battlefield and went grocery shopping. Tomorrow more shopping. Then, home in a couple more days.
Such a wonderful bike ride( I would love to do it again) & such a treat to spend some time with Liana.
