Day 29: Rest day Winona MN

Again. a much needed day to catch up on laundry and rest. It is a cool sunny day in Winona. Monika and I walked 2.5 mi into town for the coffee shop and bike shop. Monika bought 3 tubes, hopefully she won't need them.

On the way we passed by the Watkins company museum & store. They used to have door to door salesmen. The company started with a rubbing compound that would sooth aches and pains.


Our hotel is next to Sugarloaf pinnacle, an outcropping of limestone that is a symbol of Winona. Must has been about 600 feet tall. Stupid me, I missed taking a picture.
