We stayed on the west side of the river and rode all day in Iowa.
It's not flat. Lots of pleasant rollers.
The weather forecast said 50% chance of rain by noon, so we didn't waste any time getting done. The day was cool with a cloud cover that threatened rain, but it didn't happen. The landscape is covered entirely by corn, with an occasional interruption of a small town.
This hillside cemetery was decorated for Memorial Day. Since it grabbed our attention we all stopped to get pictures.
