Day 9: to Williamsport 45 mi

Mud, mud, mud. The first four miles, then we hopped up on the paved path for 21 miles, the Western Maryland Rail to Trail. An amazing break from the tension filled riding of the C&O's unpredictable surface. After lunch there was a huge improvement, most of the puddles are drying up. It was sunny and warm in the afternoon.
Another accident, this time Charlotte. Lots of bruises and a very sore wrist, but she still smiles.
