Day 12: to Leesburg. 45 mi

We ended last night with a good laugh when Gerda reminded Allen of his tasks in the morning. "Be sure you put Julie's bike together and tighten his (Ralph's) nuts.

Roots and rocks, yet everything is relative so we consider this the best on the C&O. Flat or slightly down hill make this ride delightful. We arrived at our hotel, then had a wonderful last dinner together. I had steamed veggies & a baked potato.
What a wonderful ride this has been. A comparable group of "F.O.G." Friends of Gerda.
