A scenic ride with several trestles and the amazingly huge Salisbury Junction viaduct (no picture 'cause I didn't stop) over a valley far below highlighted the day. We ate another scrumptious dinner at the Levi Deal Mansion and had a tour including the owners private space in the former ballroom. Meals and special tours are the perks our group of 10 has received since a travel agent did all the arrangements of this trip.
We ate another gourmet meal at the Levi Deal Mansion, had a tour and slept soundly. Trains go by all night long (most filled with open cars filled with coal) blowing their whistles at every intersection, but I'm learning to sleep through it. Oh, the thunder did wake me up.
