Day 49-20: Köln, (Cologne) Germany

Have you seen the movie The Bridge at Remagen? (1969) The story about the bridge that fell down after many attempts were made by the Germans to destroy it, to prevent American troops from crossing The Rhein. We passed by one end that currently houses a museum.


We arrived early enough in Köln (Cologne) to enjoy a bit of the city and eat an early dinner. Dana even got a haircut.

Ate a most delicious, huge salad at Dean & David's. I've been able to stick to my usual diet here. The only exception in too many Apple Streusel. Dana's weakness is schnitzel of any kind.
