Day 32-3 - Bad Abbach, Germany

32.5 km  For ride details click here

We decided to take a day off and visit the thermal baths.
I didn't feel like having a massage or mineral bath, but Dana did.

So I'll catch up on my blog and add some pics and data links to previous entries, since I've figured out how to use Garmin connect I can include some more stats about each day's ride.

Being back in Germany brings a return of my comfort level. The German people are very friendly and interesting to talk with. They all apologize for their limited English and yet they know a great deal of English. I regret that I can't speak German and that I have very little capacity for it. So they understand my English better than trying to speak a little German that is poorly executed.
If we look at all unsure of where we are going someone stops and tries to help, even people in cars. Fun place to be on a bicycle!

We went through Regensburg on our way.

Regensburg has buildings and a bridge built before the occupation by the Romans. Much restoration going on to preserve the history of this ancient city.
