Our ride ended in a storm of wind, rain and lightening, a common afternoon event to cool off the unbearable heat and humidity. We continue winding along the Mississippi leaving Louisiana as we crossed the bridge into Natches, Mississippi.
Our ride was totally without services today so our excellent guide/cook provided breakfast and lunch today. We have a sag stop every 20 miles to refresh our water and snacks. We are
definitely well fed. The heat makes the riding difficult, but frequent stops and with continuous water intake we can do it.
