Ride details
46 days riding & 17 days with Dana. That's the numbering system I'm using in the title each day.
Yeah! Mary is back to ride a couple of days with us. So nice to add her familiarity to our little group.
Highlights today:
As we followed the Eurovelo 15 routing and it led us down a cobblestoned street, I was reminded how awful it is to ride on brain rattling cobblestones on a bike. I guess a wooden horse drawn cart might be better.
Riding through vineyards. Interesting to see directional signs and paved roads through a vineyard.
Riding past the BASF plant that our guidebook says employs 32,000 & they must give some of them bikes. We came across a parking lot filled with several hundred bikes that were all the same.
