8 days without any internet!
The ship has a 10,000 book library, so I spent the first two days reading the book they selected for an onboard book discussion, The Storied Life of A.J Fikry. Good story. Then A Spool of Blue Thread by Anne Tyler and Dead Wake by Eric Larson (the story of the Lusitania) .
Ate too much and exercised too little. This moving city of 4000 is a dreamlike holiday.
Thursday: beautiful morning to walk on the promenade, by afternoon it was colder and raining (lower 60's)
Friday: fitness center was more inviting than the windy, chilly promenade.
Sat-Mon. Foggy, cloudy, rain.
Tues-Wednesday: 75 degrees all day and into evening. We are getting near NYC, so I guess this is a way to adjust to to the very hot weather expected.
Landing in NYC on Thursday morning.
