Land Ho
Spent a few hours on the Portuguese island Madeira. Funchal is the capital. It was Palm Sunday so shops were closed. It was a beautiful day with lots of local people were out enjoying the weather. All buildings have fireproof terra cotta red roofs since a devastating fire in 2010.

Cannot wait until the next post - this adventure of a lifetime is so very excitig, everyone used to go by train and ship - now, you are reinventing leisure travel to Europe. Kind of retro...!! Lol !!
