The final day of riding started on the Paul Bunyan Trail where we ended yesterday.
The rest if the ride was on wonderfully smooth paved roads, but became a bit tedious the last miles, so when we saw the first sign for Lake Itasca we were releaved.
The headwaters are at 1485 ft above sea level. If we were in a boat it would be 2552 miles to reach the Gulf of Mexico.
We rode a total of 1,989.3 miles.
2,010.2 miles on my Odometer that indicate additional toodling around miles.
