Well things haven't started the way I had hoped. Ffrst they canceled my train so I quickly figured out another option. instead of going on the Empire Builder directly east to Chicago, I am traveling south to Sacramento and then back north through Denver and Omaha to Chicago. I made my reservations over a year ago to be sure that I would have a sleeper, first class. Of course the train is full and there are no sleepers with this change, so I get to experience regular coach. I will see how that goes.
I have to apologize for the lack of subscription service. Blogspot is now old and out of date.

ReplyDeleteIt’s great you’re on day one. It’s 10 PM and hopefully you are either asleep in a sleeper or with a nice warm blanket wrapped around you and leaned up against the window as the landscape whizzes by.
