This is the moment when I get the last minute jitters! David rushes around doing everything he hasn't been motivated to finish for years and I eat like I will never have access to good food again.
Our modes of travel are so slow compared to the rest of the world that we will have lots of time to contemplate, review our itinerary and catch up on sleep if that is what we feel like doing or just generally relax.
Car, train, bus, cruise: ground and sea transportation will take us as far south as we have ever been. Tasmania, Eastern & Northern Australia, lots of Pacific Islands. Our 4 months of travel has begun.
We will write about our adventures as we go and as access to WiFi allows!
