Tignish

We decided to take the day off. Our journey will begin in earnest tomorrow. So we walked to the end of the sidewalk then to the store, the info center & back to our B&B. 3 miles. The Tignish Heritage Garden & Inn was a school & convent, built from bricks made with the islands red soil.

Alana & Don (new friends staying at our B&B) took us for a drive out to the point where we viewed the phenomenal meeting of the tides and a wind farm & museum..."the kindness of strangers"
